It's a new age. Infomation is no longer found just on CBS nightly broadcast. At some point, the govt is going to have identify how this applies to America. Other countries are using social media to completely suppress thought. In america, the companies them selves are choosing which content to curate.

This. I would look at social media as the digital "town square". Govt can't limit free speech in the real "town square"(unless it's inciting violence) but these social media sites are definitely deciding which views/opinions are "acceptable".
