Gulf South Texans. Orlando Cervantes is the director.
I would make sure you do some research on it before you pull that trigger. Orlando has been bouncing around a bit in the last few years. He used to be the director of LSA's ODP program. He was fired 2 years ago and immediately started the Louisiana United last year in competition with ODP. I heard it failed badly. Now, he's started up the Texans. I'm not sure where they are going to train.
Not saying he won't succeed. But, it takes a LOT more than a club name and a supportive parent entity to succeed as an alternative club in a smallish market like BR. Where are the coaches coming from?
Also, it's not affiliated with the LSA...so no "league" games. Not sure what that means...but, I'm guessing they will be a tournament program.

LA United was a bit of a disaster. Only had 2 "practices" and one tournament in Houston where the girls teams got smoked for most of the weekend, although I believe one of the younger boys teams did well. Very disorganized, and compared to LA ODP it was light years behind in structure and what you got for your money.
They are applying to be part of something called the Premier Soccer League, which are teams from LA and MS. The LA teams seem to be the ones that aren't in LSA, although it looks like Ascension is doing double duty.
As a BRSC parent, I hope that this is a viable club that at the least will shake some things up at BRSC and get them to reassess how they are ultimately developing players and maximizing talent. I think any kid not on a Black team at BRSC should at least keep an eye on what Orlando is doing. Maybe not jump the first year, because it could wind up crashing and burning, but if he can make it work for a season or 2 it will be interesting to see how it hits the numbers at Burbank.

Louisiana ODP was a joke and he was trying to straighten up some things. Louisiana United didn’t have much of a chance due to Coronavirus cancellations.....so I won’t hold those against him.
Orlando was a women’s Division 1 soccer coach. He has the right vision to try and get Louisiana soccer more exposure. Will be interesting to follow.

You, actually, should be the one doing the research.
