Then somebody slipped you a grey market machine if the whole thing was made in India. Sub-assembly of components comes from India on a 2019 5055E but final assembly of all components happens in Augusta, GA. Serial plate should read "assembled in USA" as well, but I will agree that Deere has some tricky semantics.

5 series E are made and assembled in India, M's in Georgia
