I'd buy the orange over an E series deere. The E is the budget line made in india, M and R are still made in Georgia I believe

Check out the ls mt225 it has the 2 pedal on the hydro too. More tractor than the Deere and more standard than the kubota. I went through the same thing last year. I now have 105 hours on my ls.

All 1-5 Series sold in the US currently are made in Augusta, GA. Localized production of small tractors for overseas markets comes out of India. Years ago some models sold here were made in India (5103, 5203, 5303). I’d go with the 3025E for the aforementioned reasons, namely the twin touch pedals vs. Kubota’s treadle pedal. I also grew up on Deere products and feel comfortable on them but I wouldn’t be scared of the Kubota.

The orange tractors are a quality product. Lots of people will tell you to consider your dealer. The dealers around us for both brands are top notch so it comes down, really, to personal preference provided it’s the same where you are.
