When the state was talking about abolishing the inspection sticker program last year, it was reported by one of the news channels in Baton Rouge that the residents of the five parishes in metro Baton Rouge will still have to obtain an inspection sticker because the air quality in those parishes does not meet the federal minimum requirements.

Well, it's bullshite that passenger vehicles are significantly impacting the local air quality.

We don't have a dense enough population for this to even be possible. Otherwise it would be an issue in all top 70 metros or so.
