We loved this place, great stop for a picnic and short walk. Bonus: the short jaunt south is significantly more pretty than the interstate, keep on it and go back north in AZ vs NM.

We did the same route. Almost ran out of gas in the jeep. Its further than it looks on the map. That reservation was kind of depressing though
