Bingo.
A capitalist, free society is based on each person pursuing their own self interest that pursuit, in turn, contributing to the greater good. Because so many now shirk their parental reaponsibilities, those neglected children would likely benefit more from a communal approach, but that’s not human nature and that’s not capitalism. The answer is for all parents to make their child a priority, but writing a book like that would make her a pariah among her intellectual wine-sniffing friends.
