excellent player development

I agree that player development -or lack there of-should be a huge draw for any future recruit to LSU-or away from Alabama. You may argue that Alabama ranks high yearly in the number of NFL players and that this fact argues against their lack of player development. In actuality, UA’s remarkable recruiting since Saban arrived-curiously- has been second to no one for almost 9 years. It is this fact that leads to their success, not player development. In this year’s draft, Alabama draftees averaged 4.4 rating out of high school; the probability of being an NFL player with this high school rating is exceptionally high and these odds are iregardless of what college they attend. LSU’s record 2020 draft class, on the other hand, averaged 3.6 in high school, meaning the odds of being drafted are markedly lower. I assert this translates to better player development at LSU.
