Yes. If you know for sure a crime has been committed. And that’s where the discussion ends here. Because you’re sure Ahmaud is a criminal. But you’ll be unable to give me any proof.
And that’s why citizen arrest isn’t going to work here.
You still don’t want to accept what the law is.
Immediate knowledge of a felony warrants a citizens arrest.
Entering a dwelling with intent to steal is a felony in Georgia.
We’ll see if there’s reasonable evidence to that end, but it’s trending that way.
It’s also looking like their might have been impropriety in the da’s office.
The two are not mutually exclusive.

I’m fine with where the law is. A person “hauling arse down the street” isn’t immediate knowledge of a crime. Hell, even if McMichael saw him leave the house, he probably doesn’t have enough to effect a citizens arrest.
Probable cause isn’t part of a citizens arrest.
The reason we don’t allow people to detain people because of probable cause is because detaining can be messy business.

One more thing.
Would love to see where I posted this.
Hint: you won’t find it, although his rap sheet says he is.

How can anyone prove what his intent was?
Dead men tell no tales.
And what’s this about him carrying a hammer? Is this just B.S. or was he carrying a stolen hammer?
