My response to her was more about her arrogant, narcissistic attitude about it as displayed by previous posts of hers on the topic.

Because it doesn't affect her, she can't possibly understand why wearing a mask in CERTAIN situations is about more than protecting yourself and protecting others around you.

She was angry in another thread at older people in the grocery store, saying how it inconvenienced her. Not knowing that some of them may have no other option but to leave their house to go to the store.

There isn't a perfect solution to all of this. And I certainly don't stand on either extreme side of this. I believe there is a middle ground that should be aimed at achieving in all this.

I think people have a hard time coming to the realization that our world is NOT going to just instantly go back to how it was before all this. If you truly expect that, you are going to be sorely disappointed. All of us wish this was the case, don't get me wrong. I would love nothing more than for to just be able to get back to how things were.

But the reality is....it is NOT. This has forever changed the entire world. At least for now. I don't think we should all stay at home. But I do realize that as things open up...they need to do so with caution and more restrictions than before.
