He rarely got blitzed, b/c DC's were worried that they couldn't get him down and his arm was strong enough to still hit an open receiver.

He had something like 125 yards rushing in that TN game, then averaged close to 70 yards after that per game, even including loss yardage for the few times he got sacked.

Jimbo began to even incorporate running plays for him.

I never got a straight answer on the mystery of why he never ran before that TN game, even knowing some that were on staff and in the program at the time, but I have my suspicions.

he had 71 yards rushing against UT, then 48 yards rushing TOTAL the rest of the year over 4 games.

where are you getting these rushing numbers from?
