Just trying to help out some of you baws.

Hotspots are POS and Verizon will throttle your data after reaching allotted threshold.

Satellite Internet is a shittier option due to latency and propagation delay.

All of you baws in the sticks need to invest in an LTE Modem/Router. What I've been setting up at remote military construction sites and recommending to our office employees that live in the country is a company called "GotW3". They offer high speed unthrottled internet service. You won't get cut off after passing a certain amount of GB like you will with everything else.

www.gotw3.com

They are a third party provider that has worked out contracts with all of the cell providers. It's much better than going directly through Verizon, T-Mobile, ATT, or C-Spire and using their weakass hotspots.

They have a "rural" plan which connects to ATT cell towers and a "urban" plan that connects to T-Mobile towers. Go to www.cellmapper.net to find the closest cell tower to your house. Then setup the modem in a window on the side facing the tower. You can also invest in a Yagi Directional Antenna to point at the tower...it'll add about 10 to 15 decibels of signal strength if you live a good ways from a tower or have a metal roof.

Ever since I started setting this up at jobsites and our employee's homes...everyone acts like I turned water in wine.

Are you familiar with a mimo setup for the directional antennas? I have 2 wilson directionals and I'm getting ready to put them in place. I have seen different configurations online and I am trying to decide. I may have to just do trial and error. If you have done this setup, what works best in your opinion?

First thing you should check for before LTE is fixed wireless. Literally saved my arse, it’s only 25 down and 3 up but it’s super stable. Edit: also unlimited data
