Joe Biden said that Tara Reade's complaint could only be at the National Archives, at what was then called the Office of Fair Employment Practices. But, a National Archives spokesperson told me that they do not hold records from that office.

Instead, a Senate Historical Office staffer said the Fair Employment Practices records are governed by a Senate resolution mandating that "records containing personal privacy, information closed by statute, and records of executive nomination are closed for 50 years."

hat staffer said that rules for filing a complaint to the Office of Fair Employment Practices were complicated and that it was possible that a staffer attempting to do so without proper guidance may not have taken the necessary steps to get an investigation started

Well, of all the luck. Damnit! Joe REALLY wanted to get to the bottom of this, too.
Gosh golly. I guess that's the end of that.

So the complaint would be in his personal records that are sealed for 50 years that Joe said this morning you can't look into but look at the NA that don't deal with those type of complaintd

Surly there is an exception for if the person that the records belong to wants them unsealed, right?
Sounded to me that if Joe really wanted to prove his innocence, he'd just get his own records and release them, himself.
Unlike Trump's tax returns, we can actually learn something valuable from this.

If we had an honest press, they'd be howling

He knew exactly what he was saying b/c he knew they wouldn't get unsealed.
