Adding this line shows that you have a bias and will try to minimize everything. I too think its time to open things back up but I am not going to do mental gymnastics to try to prove that this whole thing was a fallacy.

2 things can be simultaneously true:

1) Its time to open businesses back up.

2) The stay at home order was necessary and it worked. My wife is an ICU nurse in New Orleans and they barely had the bed space for the Covid patients at its peak. Without the stay at home order, they are most certainly overrun.
