I’ve been doing lawn care since the summer of 1987 and have used echo, stihl, red max, shindaiwa, and probably some others I can’t remember. I will only run shindaiwa blowers and weed eaters in my business going forward. Not that the others are “bad”, but shindaiwa outperforms the other brands in every way. Lighter, more powerful, and longer lasting in my experience. Follow the fuel recommendations of previous posters for residential use and you will be satisfied. Also, speed feed head is a must. I don’t even turn off my machine when I run out of string and I am weedeating again within 1 minute. Go to a dealer and check out the 262 model...straight shaft and darn near commercial power. My 2 cents.
