Ahhh.....war against another country almost always unites the country, as long as there is a seemingly valid reason to be at war at the time. With Bush, the Iraqi war seemed legit at the time...and followed 9/11 (an attack on us absolutely unites us.) Were there to be an attack on American soil today, I have no doubt the U.S. would unite and we would work together to destroy the enemy. A "virus" is different. Telling people to "stay at home", or stand 6 feet apart isn't exactly unifying. It gives people time to sit around and stew over things, and makes things worse. I don't think we have seen the end of political cohesion. Plus, 20 years from now there will be a new set of players and new issues to bitch about.

I have serious doubts about this statement because I whole heatedly believe that AOC and the squad would use it as a tool further their degrading of America and American culture. Furthermore, the establishment Left has proven they can not keep or even get them in line with DNC priorities.
