Once they got down by 21 points, they pretty much abandoned Beanie Wells as their primary weapon (and I'm sure Bo's adjustments didn't help).

Biggest weaknesses.......

1. You hit the nail on the head about our wideouts. They could not get open all night, and that made Boeckman look like crap, even moreso than he may have looked otherwise
2. Our D was extremely overrated and I hate JL. It doesn't matter IMO if you have 18 tackles if 14 of them are after Hester has run 6 yards.
3. We didn't use screens effectively. To negate the speed rush you have do do something that the D isn't used to seeing your team run. We could have done a few out to Saine and maybe he could have made a play.


Thank you for seeing that the game was not as one sided as the media made it. I myself rewatched the game 2 weeks ago for the 1st time. It was difficult for me to fathom how OSU, who didn't have a history of making dumb plays in 2007, made so many questionable decisions.

It goes with the territory, and LSU was the better team.
