Sean got his start at WVNN in Athens, AL, back in the early 1990s. I remember the first day he was on the air ...I thought ... what the heck..... a Yankee with a strong New England accent in Alabama? He was a Rush Limbaugh wanna be.... but good. It was the best talk radio for our area up to that time we had heard.

He had the same format as Rush..... bumper music, theme songs for various topics, etc.
he stayed here for a few years.... met his wife who I believe is from Huntsville, AL, a few miles east of Athens, and then moved on to WGST in Atlanta. We all hated to see him go because he was doing a great job.

Talk radio has kind of sucked locally since he left..., talent wise.

Yes... Sean repeats the same terms, phrases, etc every day and he talks over people. It’s annoying and that’s why I may dvr his show but do lots of fast forwarding... especially through his monologue. Sean absolutely has DJT’s back.
