Verizon iphone 5s, screen won't come on

It has power but I can't get the screen to come on. This morning it fell in the sink and some water got on it, so this is what I suspect did my screen in. Figuring no where I can take it due to the shutdown. Yes I need a new phone but I like what I have. So any ideas on what I can do for now to get it to work?

Screen came back up. So good to go.
