“Sanders relied heavily on his speed to make plays, Sting is very fast but plays IMO with more Technique as a teenager than Sanders did as a full-grown man in the NFL.”

You must’ve never seen Deion Sanders play corner. There isn’t a scout or coach alive who would agree that Derek Stingley played with better technique last season than Deion in the NFL. Stingley went through a slump mid season where he was getting beat, you think college WRs would’ve done that to Deion as a Pro? Then you preface that by saying you think “teams will avoid Stingley” so you use a made up analysis coupled with basically a dream scenario and use that as your position. Let’s keep this thing focused on what is and fact ok? Do you know why people threw at Deion? He let guys open, he’d bait QBs into throwing at him so he could pick them lol. Seriously we’re in lockdown, go pop in the tape you’ll enjoy it.

I don't need to pop in a tape, I saw him live. Sanders could have been the best DB at any level. But once again IMO he was a pure speed corner. Many guys with a lot less speed than Sanders were and are just as good. Technique as a DB can make a world of difference.

That said Sanders God-given talent was the best. As an athlete, Sanders was top 10 in NFL history at any position.

However, if anyone has great God-given talent (Sting does) and great technique (Sting does in spades) that will make a better DB. You said.

(Do you know why people threw at Deion? He let guys open, he’d bait QBs into throwing at him.)

This kind of proves my point. He was and he knew he was the fastest guy on the field and when the ball went in the air his speed would take over.

This is exactly why he never had better than average technique.
