Maybe for some people.... I have held a job for 38 years out of necessity. I'd much rather spend my time fishing, golfing and playing music. But i get what your saying. We should never remove the necessity part of that equation.

The majority of the work force do not enjoy their jobs to any degree close to how much they would enjoy being paid to do absolutely nothing.
And people like Yang are fricking delusional dumbasses for thinking paying for people's basic needs long-term would motivate them to produce.
Nothing motivates a person more to produce than the threat of not having basic needs.
