Also I have an Isabelle-announced heavy meteor shower starting in a few minutes- I'll probably only keep the game up about an hour or two but if anyone wants to come wish on stars, feel free: Dodo Code: **REDACTED**

I may be semi-afk after I get my first 20 wishes in but feel free to roam. Saharah is here somewhere (she is east beach halfway up), anything in Nooks is up for grabs if you want it, Ables is still open for a couple of hours (and I have the Labelle Caps in stock today). Some free DIYs by the airport, help yourselves. No need to bring anything with, just happy to share the stars with folks. Celeste is here in the far northeast corner up in the third tier of the gardens.

Jackpot! Turnip price is 465. Heavy shooting stars too. Looking for Celeste but haven’t seen her yet.

Tips are greatly appreciated, especially NMT’s.

Please leave thru airport and be nice to my island. Remember, AC limits shooting stars to 20.

Code is FC2QY

I just went on a harrowing adventure trying to move my island to my new switch.

I had cloud backups on and it didn't give me any kind of warning when I transferred the user profile to the new switch that there would be an issue with Animal Crossing, but when I went to start the game up, it acted like it was starting a new save file.

During the freakout that ensued, I found a post on Reddit where someone said you actually have to contact customer support at nintendo to authorize the island transfer and then your cloud backup will load.

I went into the nintendo support chat, and one of the options was 'I need animal crossing help'. I got a rep pretty quickly and she authorized my account to transfer my island. She had me start the game up and hold the - button on the black loading screen until the option to load a cloud save appeared, and then Tom Nook showed up to walk through the steps to load the island.

It's fine now!! There were just no warnings all that would be required. I figured if anyone else here was thinking about upgrading a v1 switch to a v2 switch this holiday season, just know you're going to have to jump through these hoops to get your island moved to a new device.
