As an LSU fan, I think Burrow has the potential to be great. My only worry is that him playing for the Bengals may stunt his pro development a little bit. They have a shitty offensive line, hardly any offensive weapons (almost none if Green leaves) and they're not the type of franchise to turn things around quickly and completely. That said, with his work ethic and the amount of preparation he puts into each game, I think he's going to be damn good. If whatever team drafts him (likely the Bengals) can put him into an offense similar to what he ran this past year at LSU and gives him a decent weapon or 2, he'll have all-pro potential. He definitely has the ability to make his teammates better.

Now, to really answer your question and go with a non-homer pick, since I'm sure the answer to your question from most LSU fans will be Burrow, I'll say Jordan Love. I think he's being overlooked because the team he had around him last year was horrible. I think that led to him playing well below his ability as a QB. I'd love to see the Saints draft him and give him a year or 2 behind Brees. I actually think if he sits for a year and gets coached up by NFL coaches, it'll benefit him greatly and allow for him to have sustained success in the NFL. I'd expect him to play really well for whatever team he's on if he's allowed to go that route. However, if he's drafted and has to start right away, I'd be a little concerned for his future. I think he needs that year to sit and learn from better coaching than what he received at Utah State to be able to reach his full potential.
