Thats not how life works.
You cant disagree with someone, and when the exact things you argued against come true, sit here and pretend like whatever you were saying was justified.
Like remember when you said Zion wasnt a #2 option right now? Nothing you can say right now can justify your shite take that you gave then. Thats not how life works. Sorry
You and Corndeaux should hang out more, both absolutely love to argue by removing context and dumbing down the conversation.
I said if our goal was to accelerate our contention and be better set up for the Zion’s next 8 years, that in the context of winning now and later, moving on from Jrue and bringing in a guy like a Beal to be our 1A or 1B for the first couple seasons until Zion develops makes a lot of sense. That to truly be contenders beyond the first round in the immediate future we would need to go a route such as that. The context was our teams path forward and one path toward maximizing our championship window with Zion, Of course it works in ones favor a lot better if you remove that context and play ignorant to the larger conversation that was being had. Where I said to get into title status in say the next two years, it would likely mean bringing in a superstar level player like Beal, pushing the hierarchy downward until Zion inevitably develops into the more fully realized beast we all suspect he can be.
As to Lonzo, Facts change, people adjust to them. Arguing Lonzo may not be in our future plans if he doesn’t step it up, then adjusting when he steps it up, isn’t really a problem in my book, in fact it’s a pretty good characteristic to have. I’m glad for you that you looked at the poor start and said I still believe, and for everyone’s benefit Lonzo proved out, but other than these silly I told you so’s that require ignoring context, it seems a bit desperate.

So zo is more intriguing than Zion/BI as young players?
LOL at this board!

Correct Bronc.
For instance, several years ago Jrue was injury prone, despite making the allstar team.
This board hated Jrue during that time and still does. The situation changed, Jrue has been healthy and somehow this board still hates him.
Zo comes here, some situation, except not as good as Jrue, big time injury issues. Board is obsessed with Zo. The obsession doesnt make sense other than he was famous in high school/college.
