re: The closing statements are all about “I grew up poor”

Just about all of us grew up poor with a registered Democrat dad who worked as a [insert lower middle class trade/industry job].

My dad believed Democrats represented [choose one or more: the people, America, families, (if you’re Joe Biden) the working man].


But none of our dads were Democrats because they believed they should be taxed more to get ahead.
