Hughes had an issue on a cutoff throw as well IIRC. I wasn't referring to the throw down when I said that (mental errors). He looked off in the field. And I can say off, because we know he capably played the position his freshman year so we know this performance was uncharacteristic.

Yeah, there is no denying he had an uncharacteristically bad weekend on defense. On the flip side, he had an uncharacteristically better approach at the plate all weekend.
