Jonathan Kuminga -

The nation’s top prospect in the 2021 class, Kuminga has kept his future plans pretty close to the vest. The thought is that he could make the leap into the 2020 class, but that move would not be expected for several more months. Where he would land remains up for debate. Keep an eye on Auburn, LSU, Nebraska and Texas Tech, where his brother, Joel Ntambwe, currently plays
Moussa Cisse -
quote:
He has already taken an official visit to Florida State, and is a top target for programs such as Georgetown, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky and UConn. If there is a sleeper in all of this, it is LSU. If Cisse does reclassify, the Tigers would be his likeliest landing spot.
Frank Anselem -
quote:
In the fall, the Rivals150 junior took official visits to Arizona, LSU and Nebraska, while others including Alabama, Arizona State, Kansas and Oregon continued to pursue. Anselem is expected to make a decision soon, and LSU looks to be in great shape at this point. Reclassifying into the 2020 class could be in the cards as well, which would place the valued rebounder on the Baton Rouge campus in the fall. Anselem is arguably the most certain junior to reclassify and the only hold-up might be the completion of the necessary coursework.

We've got talented wings playing in the front court. I'm much more excited about O'Neal (6'9") and Anselem (6'10"). If Smart stays, we'll be fine at PG.

Honestly...where would Smart go? He has no natural position at the next level and he isn't a plus scorer or defender.

They are pushing for Gaines, he’s the second PG they would add in the class. If smart does return I feel like the biggest need would actually be another legit 2 guard who can shoot 3s. Cam Thomas might be the only shooter in the team next year. Cook and Bishop (if he stays) will do fine as a backup

I wish LSU could pick up Gaines, Kuminga, and Anselem. This class would be sick if LSU could pull that off.

You think? That would be the too good to be true finish and probably a Top 5 class without looking at the numbers.

Anybody got good info Jabari Smith’s son out of GA?
247 has LSU as cool regarding his interest. Are we making too much of the legacy connection or do we have a good shot?
#5 player in ‘21 class.

I don't have any real insight towards his feelings on LSU, but I can say that (1) his dad is still an enormous LSU fan and (2) he is close with Frank Anselem.

Good to hear...would love to see junior bring back the "dunk mob" to BR.

Was told Jabari, Sr is on board with LSU, but it will be his son's decision.
