spinoff, any recommendations on places like oklahoma kansas kentucky for affordable fun hunt? never turkey hunted outside of mississippi and georgia so would like to see some more open country instead of pine stands and bottoms.

I’ve not hunted there in a few years; but, check out Central Kansas Whitetails. Wally the original owner sold the outfit a few years back; but, it must be going well as they are still turning out lots of turkeys and some huge bucks. I enjoyed hunting there so much I hunted turkeys there for 4 years straight.
I think a 3 day - 2 bird hunt is like $1,300. That includes a nice lodge and meals.
