There is an old saying in baseball, "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying".
Many players and baseball purists believe that if you let another team steal your signs then that is on you. I can embrace that logic to a point; however, using a camera system to steal signs and broadcast it to a TV in the dugout goes beyond what I see as being part of the spirit of the game. If you can see a coach giving signs with your own eyes and decode the signs and and use that as an advantage, I say go for it. I don't have a problem with players stealing signs with their own eyes from within the boundaries of the baseball field. With that said, I'm a huge Alex Bregman fan but what the Astros did was beyond what I think is part of the game.
