My Roomba gets the job done. I’ve been pleased with the purchase.
However you do have to make sure you pick up socks and other stuff the days it is scheduled to run otherwise it’ll just shite down after sucking up some wires or whatever was on the ground to avoid damaging motors and what have you.
The newer ones create a heat map of your house and you can see how well it gets to every spot. I’ve been impressed with its flexibility moving from hard wood to carpet and its pathing algorithms are really fun to watch evolve. It’s definitely a well made and well tuned product.
