This can’t be emphasized strongly enough. It is the best way to ensure all the cancer is reproved with the least loss of healthy tissue, and the least scarring possible. The doc that did mine on my forehead was also a plastic surgeon. This is not the time to screw around with a dermatologist.

Most Mohs Surgeons are Dermatologists, Rocket Surgeon.
