I mean its nice not having to stop every other play.

That's mainly b/c of the playclock being so much shorter.
XFL's playclock is 25 seconds compared the NFL's 40.
The shorter length makes it flow more like a college game from 10 years ago before they changed it to be more like the NFL. College teams still tend to run their offenses much faster than the NFL for the most part though.
