In the modern business environment (all fields) it is about personal progression. Thinking about job security is a "boomer" mindset, no offense. If they are interested in the field, I would suggest searching for great projects vs looking at companies and get an MBA. So, so helpful. Learning how to socialize as an engineer has been my key skill. Most cant do it.
