It’s akin to taking the dumbest possible posts on a subject and trying to extrapolate it to an entire fanbase or group

There are people on the OT comparing McCain to Kobe and asking which one is in heaven, but I’d never accuse this entire website of such dumbassery.

On the topic - personal reactions, especially grief/pain, are all relative. I don’t know what it’s like to grow up in LA (or anywhere else, really) with Kobe as a role model and outlet for life’s bullshite/monotony. I’m not gonna play grief police and tell those people it’s weird to react with genuine sadness.
