Then surely, being the humanitarian you are, you understand that economic collapse, job loss, homelessness, etc all lead to higher death rates?
It's not as simple as staying home forever. Even a few more weeks of this will make it impossible for some families to ever recover. It will also destroy small businesses and more people are employed by small businesses than anything else in the USA.

Got word from a hospital I work with ... one of the best in the world... that they have 7 confirmed cases in just one of their ICUs. That’s pretty astounding. Sounds like a small number, but it’s really not.
