one more for today...LSU 70s star Benjy Thibodeaux. Get to know him.

I played against this guy in high school. He was an all-everything player from Notre Dame in Crowley, and an immediate impact DT for LSU. Was flagged for the most notorious penalty in LSU history...and it was bogus...facemask that probably cost LSU the upset over USC. The Trojans brought in maybe THE BEST team EVER to play in Tiger Stadium...and LSU had them where they wanted. Until that penalty. Dude got a bad rap. Excellent player.

I was there that night and watched the play on YouTube...it was a facemask...but the play should have never happened because 2 USC lineman moved before the snap and the play should have been whistled dead...

Played against him in high school too. While he was a great high school player he did not have any tackles against us my sr year. He was really frustrated. Of course we double teamed him a lot. He was one big dude for 2A ball back then. I played for Erath.
