He was also the first non coordinator to ever win the Broyles award. I mean come on, the man did a lot more than just bring a playbook with him.

yeah I'm shocked that the NFL came after Brady and not Ensminger. we all know Brady just dropped the playbook off and sat back and watched Ensminger work.
there is a reason O publicly stated that Brady was the play caller when asked directly," who calls the plays?"only to a week later change his stance.

He won the Broyles Award primarily due to all of the success of LSU and Joe Burrow. Furthermore, he was a coordinator. He was the Passing Game Coordinator and Passing Game Coordinators everywhere always work in close collaboration with their Offensive Coordinators.

Furthermore, during his acceptance speech he suggested that his OC Steve Ensminger deserved the award more than he did. However, anyone who knows Steve Ensminger knows that he shuns the spotlight like it is the plague.
