re: What qualities did you look for in your spouse?

Can someone explain to me why in the world politics would matter that much? Unless you were actively involved in politics in a way that put you in direct conflict every day, I can't see how it matters.

I follow politics closely and have some strong opinions but it doesnt mean that it matters one whit when I go home.

Seems like people put way too much emphasis on political identity these days.
