re: Who here is in a union? Do you feel it helps or hurts?

Had the chance to meet a life long union guy a few years ago. He was an electrician in NY, he got cold during work one day and walked across the street and drank beer for 2 hours because "it warmed him up", company took him off of the job. He had a hearing about his job, and he won and had to be paid all loss wages. If you don't see something wrong with that I don't know what to tell you.

I met the guy an hour before, and he told that story like he won a gold medal at the Olympics
