I've lurked here for a looong time and am not even native to Louisiana, but have lived in Lafayette for several years and am married to a die hard tigers football fan and alumni ...

I don't understand the comparison honestly.

Clemson has played highschool teams all season so I'd expect the team to be ranked near the top in every state on paper. Ohio State was nearly the same.

LSU earned every stat ...every single game starting with Texas.

Clemson was beaten on paper even after winning in the semi-final.

Honestly, LSU wins this game 7 or 8 games out of 10.

LSU is so good in fact observing a dropped or missed pass from burrow to whomever seems absurd. Typically, a missed play is due to an uncalled PI or another anomaly. The team simply makes difficult plays appear routine while other "good teams" are lucky to successfully complete one or two.

I've watched Clemson - they don't have "it" nor are they fun to watch.

Wait, I've heard the clemson high school teams BS before, but OSU - really ?

I mane is it even possible for anyone outside the SEc to have a great football team ?

Maybe each of the SEC teams should have a conference of their own - which they would dominate and we all would feel so honored just to get to participate.

Then the CFP could just be a sort of SEC conference tournament.

Brilliant.

How will you rationalize losing on Monday ??
