Amazing what that Alabama game did for the Clemson narrative

That game alone has created this aura of invincibility surrounding the Clemson football team, even a year later.
Because of that game, everyone has glossed over their mediocre start to the season, looking very average against A&M, a 2-point conversion from losing to UNC, being dominated for much of the Fiesta Bowl... “remember Alabama” they say.
I absolutely love it. Keep beating that Alabama drum loudly like it’s going to do anything for them in NOLA on January 13th.

Ive also thought about this with Trevor Lawrence. The kid can absolutely sling it. But he is very erratic and misses some throws he should make. But then he makes some throws that are unbelievable.
But at the end of the day is he this amazing QB if doesnt win last year? Because I do not think he gets as much hype.

But...he did. As a true freshman. Out of high school.
He’s Peyton, with legs
