I’m a vet and the only thing I don’t like about fireworks is it makes my wife & kids dogs go apeshit.

I’m a vet, and they don’t bother me anymore than being at a firing range. It’s all about knowing they are there for me. I’m about to go set off a shite ton of them with my kids.
They do sound exactly like a firefight in the distance though.
