making nostalgia and kiddie stuff your daily focus seems insane to me

It's an escape from the every day realities of life.

Disney people are just diff, when they walk through the gate they are able to become a 10 year old again and live in a world of fantasy and magic that is lost in adult life by responsibility and priorities.

Alot of people have deep issues in everyday life but disney is what gives them joy and happiness.

My wife and I love going, I will admit the crowds do put a damper on it some, we brought our son last december he was 2 and loved every minute. He now runs around the house anytime he sees the castle or disney on tv and screams he wants to go there.

We are Disney Vacation club members so we will be able to bring him every other year well that's the plan.

It's not for everyone, and it isnt the only trips we take, it isnt even the most expensive vacations we take.

I so understand some people take it to far but it's their life and their happiness. As someone stated maybe those people look at people that go all out on LSU season tickets, season RV passes and travel to away games in the same light, wondering why they spend all that money and time on a repetitive event

I mean this with 100% sincerity.

You can do this with a hit of good LSD/Shrooms and a night away in a cabin or something.

You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to escape reality. Its on the tip of your tongue if you aren't afraid.

Traveled and ate/drank in Chicago/Wisconsin, Austin, and Nashville the last few years for away games. Experiencing new cities and cultures >>> sweating in the same overpriced concrete jungle and eating their shitty food every year
