AP knockoff

Thanks for that history lesson, I’ve always wondered why the two look so similar

I’ve always wanted an AP, but if I ever decide to get another watch, it’s going to be very tough to choose between that and the Classic Fusion

Get the Royal Oak and don't think twice about it. The difference is one is made by one of the Swiss Trinity of watch manufacturers and the other is well just a Hublot. The ONLY caveat is try on the AP RO because the bracelet is known to eat some people's hair, it doesn't bother me though.

Honestly for the price SS Patek Nautilus are going for (twice retail) more people should look at the AP RO which is a bargain in comparison.

The AP's tapisserie design on their dials is very cool and more interesting than the Patek Nautilus. BTW Royal Oak dials have always been subbed out to Stern Creations one of the most famed dial manufacturers of all time. The Stern family is who bought and has owned Patek Phillipe since 1932. Add to that the Royal Oak is the original porthole watch designed by Gerald Genta and you have a very special watch. Oh and the engraving on the rotor is much cooler than on the Pateks.
