Lol no. Voting decisions made generations ago affect me today. They’ll affect my children and grandchildren. I could give two fricks about how much 18 year olds are affected by elections. So are 5 year olds. So are people who won’t be born for a century. Allowing people who’s brains aren’t even fully formed yet to make decisions that affect the future of this country is insane. Hell, you can’t even rent a fricking car until you’re 25. You can stay on your parents insurance till you’re 25. 25 just makes a lot more sense in every way.

Except the military of course. Like it or not this country needs 18 year olds who don’t understand the consequences of their actions in the military.


Oh and as to the topic at hand I’d lower the drinking, smoking and driving ages to 15 or 16.
