This may sound cheap but not everyone is loaded and there are budgets that need to be adhered to. At my rehearsal, we did a 30 min cocktail session then switched to beer and wine at dinner only. This saves money as well as doesn’t allow anyone to get too wasted.
I know this isn’t a suggestion but just some small thinking points to save some money.
