Soldiers don't have to obey an unlawful order. Any order that violates constitutional rights of citizens is an unlawful order.

No they wouldn’t. It’s a bunch of high school graduates. They will do what they are told.

This is probably how it would go down with NG soldiers.

Get out of their vehicles unarmed, as to not escalate things. Ask the homeowner, “Sir, we’re conducting seizures of illegal firearms. If you state that you do not possess any illegal firearms, we’ll be on our way and never bother you again.”

At least that’s how it should go.
