Mine leaked at the Y in front of the water pump and the hose that ran to the passenger side top of the radiator. Replaced only 1 and had to go back and get the other a few weeks later. Might as well do them both
Mine leaked pretty consistently and i could see it on the ground. I think it would leak only when coolant was hot so it wouldn't leak all night. However yours could maybe only when driving depending on your leak location.
