Why are yall saying he is a bandwagon. He went to LSU
I am not sure why he is the way he is. But that's him.
He just likes to jump on what is hot.
He has been doing it since he started with ESPN.
See his love affair with the Rams last year.
I was not referring to LSU specifically. But the way he is pimping them this year is way over the top from how he has been.

I'm not calling him a bandwagon fan, but him having gone and played at LSU is irrelevant in that regard. There are plenty of former players that care far less about their former team/school than the fans do.
But more to the point of what others have said about him ITT, players also tend to love their former coaches. Clark may have been recruited by Dinardo, but he made his mark and won an SEC title playing for Saban. It's not surprising nor unreasonable that he, and to a greater extent Marcus Spears, have always spoken very highly of Saban. That doesn't mean they don't root for LSU or only root for them when it's convenient.
They also both work for a national sports network. They don't work for LSU. Why would they talk about LSU all the time when it's been 8 years since we were in a national title hunt and Alabama has been?
