Tv fireplace

Is it possible to hang a tv on a wood burning brick fireplace? I googled but figured someone on this board have better suggestions.

Yes, I've had several, install mantle and hang TV. Itll be fine.

Yes, you can mount it above the fireplace. However you probably want a couple feet of distance between the fireplace opening and tv bc of the heat. I did this at my house. The tv is higher than I want it but I really didn’t want the tv off to either side. My fireplace is large and sticks out a few feet from the wall. So putting the tv off to either side would result in the tv being recessed and partially obstructed by the brick.
